      You can find this NPDL Printer Driver in the following folder of the
      decompressed file.

   2. Precautions for Installation
  ---------------------------------
    - Close all applications running on your PC before starting installation
      program.

    - Installation is not executable when other users are logging on your PC.
      Log off other users and start the installation.

   3. Precautions for Uninstallation
  -----------------------------------
    - Uninstallation is not executable when other users are logging on your PC.
      Log off other users and start the uninstallation.

    - Uninstallation is not executable when the property dialog of the printer
      is displayed, or during a printing job.
      Close the property dialog, and execute uninstallation after the printing
      job is complete.

- Windows Server 2016, Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2,
  Windows 8, Windows Server 2012 -

   1. Installation
  -----------------
      Follow these steps to install NPDL printer software.

   1.1 Installation with [cdfe.exe]
      
      To execute installation without Plug & Play or to use the printer as
      a network printer, follow the procedure below:

    1) [Start] is selected, and it is selected to [Run] from [Windows System].
       The dialog box of [Run] will be displayed.

    2) Directly enter the drive name where the downloaded printer software
       was decompressed, backslash (\), the folder name where the printer
       software was decompressed and "\cdfe" into the [Open], and click [OK].
       When the [User Account Control] dialog box is displayed, [Yes] is
       clicked.
       The printer software installation menu starts. Please install it
       according to the guide of the screen.

   2. Uninstallation
  -------------------
      Follow these steps to uninstall NPDL printer software.

    1) Select [Devices and Printers].

    2) Click the printer icon in the [Devices and Printers] folder,
       and select [Remove device] menu to delete it.

    3) Click any of the icons displayed in [Printers and Faxes] in the
       [Devices and Printers] folder and select [Print server properties].
       [Print server properties] window displayed.

    4) Click the [Drivers] tab to open it.

    5) When the [Change Driver Settings] button is displayed, click it.
       When the [User Account Control] dialog box is displayed, [Yes] is
       clicked.

    6) Select a driver to delete from the [Drivers] tab and click the
       [Remove...] button.

    7) Select [Remove driver and driver package] and click the [OK] button.

    8) When the driver is in use, a message appears and the driver package
       may not be able to be deleted. In such case, reboot the computer and
       try to delete again.

    9) Restart the computer.
    
       Then the uninstallation process is complete.

- Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 -

   1. Installation
  -----------------
      Follow these steps to install NPDL printer software.

   1.1 Installation with [cdfe.exe]
      
    1) OS is started up, [Start] is selected, and it is selected to [Run]
       from [Accessories] of [All Programs].
       The dialog box of [Run] will be displayed.

    2) Directly enter the drive name where the downloaded printer software
       was decompressed, backslash (\), the folder name where the printer
       software was decompressed and "\cdfe" into the [Open], and click [OK].
       When the [User Account Control] dialog box is displayed, [Yes] is
       clicked.
       The printer software installation menu starts. Please install it according
       to the guide of the screen.


   2. Uninstallation
  -------------------
      Follow these steps to uninstall NPDL printer software.

    1) Select [Devices and Printers] from [Start] menu,

    2) Click the printer icon in the [Devices and Printers] folder, and select
       [Remove device] menu to delete it.

    3) Click any of the icons displayed in [Printers and Faxes] in the
       [Devices and Printers] folder and select [Print server properties].
       [Print server properties] window displayed.

    4) Click the [Drivers] tab to open it.

    5) When the [Change Driver Settings] button is displayed, click it.
       When the [User Account Control] dialog box is displayed, [Yes] is
       clicked.

    6) Select a driver to delete from the [Drivers] tab and click the
       [Remove...] button.

    7) Select [Remove driver and driver package] and click the [OK] button.

    8) When the driver is in use, a message appears and the driver package
       may not be able to be deleted. In such case, reboot the computer and
       try to delete again.

    9) Restart the computer.
    
       Then the uninstallation process is complete.

- Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 -

   1. Installation
  -----------------
      Follow these steps to install NPDL printer software.

   1.1 Installation with [cdfe.exe]
      
    1) Start the OS.

    2) Click [Start].

    3) Directly enter the drive name where the downloaded printer software
       was decompressed, backslash (\), the folder name where the printer
       software was decompressed and "\cdfe" into the [Start Search],
       and Press [Enter] key.
       When the [User Account Control] dialog box is displayed, [Allow] is
       clicked.
       The printer software installation menu starts. Please install it according
       to the guide of the screen.


   2. Uninstallation
  -------------------
      Follow these steps to uninstall NPDL printer software.

    1) Select [Control Panel] from [Start] menu,
       and click [Printer] from [Hardware and Sound].
       The folder of [Printer] will be displayed.

    2) Right-Click [NEC NPDL Printers] icon in [Printer] folder,
       and select [Delete] from menu.
       When the [User Account Control] dialog box is displayed, [Continue] is
       clicked.
       The message of "Are you sure you want to delete the printer
       'NEC NPDL Printers'?" will be displayed.

    3) Click [Yes].
       [NEC NPDL Printers] icon will be deleted.

    4) Right-Click in [Printer] folder and select [Run as administrator].
       Click [Server Properties...].
     * When [Run as administrator] doesn't exist in the menu,
       [Server Properties...] is clicked.

    5) When the [User Account Control] dialog box is displayed, [Continue] is
       clicked.
       [Print Server Properties] will be displayed.

    6) [Drivers] tab of [Print Server Properties] is clicked. 

    7) [Remove...] is clicked clicking [NEC NPDL Printers] of the
       [Installed printer drivers]. 

    8) Because the dialog box of [Remove Driver And Package] is displayed,
       that [Remove driver and driver package] is selected, and [OK] is clicked. 

    9) "Deleting this printer driver package will remove it from the system.
       Are you sure you want to delete NEC NPDL Printers?" the message
       click [Yes] because it is displayed.
       Afterwards, the message is displayed, saying that "Driver package
       information collected". 

    10) The [Delete] is clicked. 
      * Please do over again from OS is reactivated, and procedure 4) in the
        state of gray being displayed to the [Delete]. 

    11) Because the message is displayed, [OK] is clicked, saying that
        [Driver package deleted]. 

    12) It is confirmed that [NEC NPDL Printers] was deleted from the
        [Installed printer drivers], and clicks shutting [Close]. 

       Then the uninstallation process is complete.

- Windows XP -

   1. Installation
  -----------------
      Follow these steps to install NPDL printer software.

   1.1 Installation with [cdfe.exe]
      
    1) Start the OS.

    2) Click [start].

    3) Select [Run...] from [start] menu.
       The dialog box of [Run] will be displayed.

    4) Directly enter the drive name where the downloaded printer software
       was decompressed, backslash (\), the folder name where the printer
       software was decompressed and "\cdfe" in sequence into the text box to
       indicate the drive name, and click [OK].
       Then, the printer software installation menu will come up.
       Start the installation according to the onscreen instructions.


   2. Uninstallation
  -------------------
      Follow these steps to uninstall NPDL printer software.

    1) Select [Control Panel from [start] menu,
       click [Printers and Other Hardware], and click [Printers and Faxes].
       The folder of [Printers and Faxes] will be displayed.

    2) Click [NEC NPDL Printers] icon in [Printers and Faxes] folder,
       and select [Delete] from [File] menu.
       The message of 
       "Are you sure you want to delete the printer 'NEC NPDL Printers'?"
       will be displayed.

    3) Click [Yes].
       Printer Driver will be deleted.

       Then the uninstallation process is complete.

- Windows Server 2003 -

   1. Installation
  --------------------
      Follow these steps to install NPDL printer software.

   1.1 Installation using [cdfe.exe]

    1) Start OS.

    2) Click [Start].

    3) Select [Run...] from [Start] menu.
       The dialog box of [Run] will be displayed.

    4) Directly enter the drive name where the downloaded printer software
       was decompressed, backslash (\), the folder name where the printer
       software was decompressed and "\cdfe" in sequence into the text box to
       indicate the drive name, and click [OK].
       Then, the installation menu of the printer software will come up.
       Start the installation according to the onscreen instructions.

   2. Uninstallation
  -------------------
      Follow these steps to uninstall NPDL printer software.

    1) Select [Printers and Faxes] from [Start] menu.
       The folder of [Printers and Faxes] will be displayed.

    2) Click [NEC NPDL Printers] icon in [Printers and Faxes] folder,
       and select [Delete] in [File] menu.
       The message of
       "Are you sure you want to delete the printer 'NEC NPDL Printers'?"
       will be displayed.

    3) Click [Yes].
       Printer Driver is deleted.

       Then the uninstallation process is complete.

- Windows 2000 -

   1. Installation
  -----------------
      Follow these steps to install NPDL printer software.

   1.1 Installation using [cdfe.exe]

    1) Start OS.

    2) Click [Start].

    3) Select [Run...] from [Start] menu.
       The dialog box of [Run] will be displayed.

    4) Directly enter the drive name where the downloaded printer software
       was decompressed, backslash (\), the folder name where the printer
       software was decompressed and "\cdfe" in sequence into the text box to
       indicate the drive name, and click [OK].
       The installation menu of the printer software will come up.
       Start the installation according to the onscreen instructions.

   2. Uninstallation
  -------------------
      Follow these steps to uninstall NPDL printer software.

    1) Click [Start], select [Settings], and select [Printers].
       [Printers] folder will be displayed.

    2) Click [NEC NPDL Printers] icon in [Printers] folder,
       and click [Delete] in [File] menu.
       The message of
       "Are you sure you want to delete the printer 'NEC NPDL Printers'?"
       will be displayed.

    3) Click [Yes].
       Printer Driver is deleted.

      Then the uninstallation process is complete.
